The Venue
Cedar Fox is located in the heart of historic downtown St. Charles, IL. This convenient location features an intimate, romantic setting, surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars. The centerpiece of the property is the O’Connor House, a limestone building dating back to 1855. While renovating, great care was taken to preserve the O’Connor House’s timeless details while seamlessly merging it with the aesthetics and design of the newly constructed event space. It is home to our lovely wedding suite, lounge space and catering kitchen. Our venue’s intimate size offers you, your family, and your guests a genuinely unique setting for your wedding or special event.
The Reception Space
Vaulted ceilings, clean lines, and modern details provide a comfortable, relaxed space where you can showcase your unique style and add your own personal touch. The wood beams, stone fireplace and custom-built walnut guest tables bring warmth and character to the space, while the lighting fixtures add that perfect amount of “bling”.
The Ceremony & Cocktail Space
Wedding ceremonies are held on our covered veranda which provides year-round protection from the ever-changing Chicago weather. You and your guests are protected from both rain and hot afternoon sun. During the cold weather months, the veranda is enclosed and maintains a comfortable temperature, even on the coldest of days.
Immediately following the ceremony, the Cedar Fox staff quickly transforms the space into your cocktail lounge. This is done as guests are enjoying drinks from the bar and nibbling on passed appetizers. The lounge space is a guest favorite, as it offers a relaxing atmosphere for those who need a break from the music and dancing later in the evening.

Cedar Fox is more than just a venue. We will provide guidance, advice and a shoulder to lean on. We will see that every detail has been thought through. Our job is to make sure that you can truly relax and enjoy one of the most important days of your life, and we are really good at our job!
